We are working with one of Northern Ireland’s leading employers.  They are currently seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to work within the Programme Team across a number of implementation and Transformation projects.

Main Activities/Tasks


  • Investigates and models business functions, processes, information flows and data structures using various analysis tools and techniques.
  • Analyses and optimizes the inter-relationships between business processes, procedures, systems, interfaces and organizational structures.
  • Identifies and gathers business improvement requirements arising from business issues, problems and change initiatives.
  • Identifies and specifies business solutions that satisfy business process requirements and resolve business process issues and inefficiencies through the elimination of waste/duplication and non-value added activities.
  • Supports the delivery and execution of small to medium sized business process improvement initiatives or projects

Does this sound like you?


  • BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Studies or related subject(s) or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ Yrs experience with circa 2-3 Yrs experience in business / systems analysis or process engineering.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Demonstrates a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Good interpersonal skills to work with end users and liaise with business stakeholder.
  • Possesses a good mix of business and IT skills, and a high level of attention to detail.


Desirable Criteria


  • Certificate / Diploma in Business Analysis.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment.
  • ERP / CRM / SCM / HRM / MES / LIMS application experience.
