Our growing client are a financial software company.  This is a new permanent role for an additional Business Analyst to join their fast-paced, Agile Product team.

 

You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Developers, Designers, and business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives and user needs into clear, actionable requirements. You will also ensure the delivery of requirements resulting in high impact value outcomes with an amazing experience for end user customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into well-defined user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead requirements and discovery workshops, mapping business processes, workflows, and systems.
  • Delivery in an OKR outcome and value-based approach. 
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure requirements translate effectively into intuitive user experiences.
  • Break down complex requirements into clear, deliverable outcomes that align with product goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine product backlogs, plan sprints, and deliver roadmap objectives.
  • Actively support Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and user acceptance testing.

Does this sound like you?

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Product Owner in a software development environment.
  • User persona and journey mapping with visualisation tools such as Miro or Mural. 
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in Agile delivery

Desirable Criteria: 

  • Experience in the Financial Services sector
