Our growing client are a rapidly growing software company.  They seek an experienced Business Analyst.

 

You will act as a steward of business intent across the delivery lifecycle. This role exists to ensure that the reason for building something is always clear, testable, and preserved from discovery through to production and analytics consumption. You will reduce delivery friction by eliminating ambiguity, aligning stakeholders early, and enabling engineers and testers to build with confidence.

 

Responsibilities will be across:

 

Intent Discovery and Clarification

  • Elicit and articulate the underlying business intent behind features, data products, and analytics outcomes
  • Challenge unclear or solution-led requests, refocusing discussions on outcomes, decisions, and measurable value
  • Define success criteria that make intent explicit and verifiable

Intent-to-Delivery Translation

  • Translate business intent into clear, outcome-focused user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure requirements are minimal, unambiguous, and ready for development and automated testing
  • Collaborate with engineers to shape requirements that align with data platform and lakehouse patterns.

Shared Understanding Across the SDLC

  • Act as a continuous partner to developers and test engineers, not a handoff point
  • Participate in design and refinement sessions to ensure intent is preserved through technical decisions
  • Support consistent interpretation of metrics, dimensions, and business rules across the platform

Validation and Feedback Loops

  • Validate delivered outcomes against original intent, not just implementation details
  • Support UAT and feedback loops to confirm business value and correctness
  • Continuously refine backlog items based on learning and operational insight

  • Comfortable working with data concepts, metrics, and analytics semantics
  • Ability to write requirements that are inherently testable and automation-friendly
  • Excellent facilitation and stakeholder alignment skills
  • Experience working in Agile teams focused on continuous delivery and learning
  • Knowledge of Credit & Debt Collection domain is highly desirable
