Our innovative customer have an exciting opportunity for a Business Process Specialist. They are one of NI’s leading companies and this is an exciting new position.

Reporting to the Head of Business Transfomation and ICT, you will help resolve root cause problems, process map, execute projects and lead change. You will champion initiatives, using your influencing skills to bring people with you, relentlessly driving continuous business improvement, solving problems both with quick wins and long term strategic projects.


The Role:

  • Lead business change, best in class operating models and lean/modern ways of working.

  • Responsible for developing strategies in conjunction with Functional Heads to improve overall efficiencies

  • Provide support to Directors and Senior managers in drafting business cases for new business improvement projects

  • Challenge the status quo, “we have always done it that way” and support introduction of best practises, lean operating models/ modern ways of working

  • Identify business systems/applications that resolve business issues through the elimination of waste and non-value add activities.

  • Identify, scope, gather consensus and project manage initiatives which support business growth without disproportionate head count growth.

  • Be an advocate for lean business operations in meetings highlighting areas of existing waste or potential future waste.

  • Track the progress of project/change activities and deliverables to project benefits.



Does this sound like you?:

  • Able to demonstrate significant experience in a similar role, e.g. Business Analyst; Process engineer; Functional Consultant; Continuous Improvement; Business Transformation.

  • Able to demonstrate “commercial mindset”.

  • Possesses a broad mix of business and process skills to include;

    • Previous experience in Investigating processes, people and systems to gather information and develop a business case.

    • Experience in Base line/ process mapping AS-IS/TO-BE identifying areas of waste/improvement opportunities.

    • Project/Program management experience.

    • Supporting the Implementation of applications/ business systems.

    • Demonstrating return on investment and business benefit delivered


Desirable criteria:


  • BSc in Business Studies or related subjects.

  • Manufacturing and support function experience.

  • Experience of planning, gaining buy-in and rolling out new business processes, organisational structural changes and software.

  • Project management training/certification

  • Lean qualification.
