Applications Architect-(Azure Integration) 

£80K-£90k + extensive benefits

We have a key requirement for an Applications Architect.

You will be be responsible for providing expertise in the definition, design, implementation, adoption and adherence to enterprise architecture strategies, processes and standards.  Your role will be to devise and design solutions for the customer's large and small change requirements and to guide and govern the technical direction of the team with the view to continuously improving quality and efficiency

This specific role is focused on expertise in Microsoft Azure development technologiesYou will ideally come from a recent software development background with a current focus on the design and architecture of technical solutions.

Key activities will include:

 

  • To provide technical and design leadership to a highly skilled and motivated expert technical team.
  • To work with senior customer stakeholders enabling them to make critical decisions on technical direction.
  • To design solutions that make use of the newest technologies and industry best practices.
  • To be part of a motivated and dynamic delivery team that seek to drive the customer's success.
  • Work with the customer to develop the strategic direction of IT architecture and the build-out of citizen-facing digital services using modern DevOps approaches.

 

The Person:

 

  • Consultative background including presales, design and implementation
  • Customer stakeholder management
  • Team leadership
  • Can demonstrate thought leadership for application solutions in particular roadmaps for clients
  • Possession of either the Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions and Architecting Microsoft Azure certifications.
  • Extensive Solution Design, development and delivery experience in diverse and complex environments for major integration projects
  • Working knowledge of Common Architectural Patterns – particularly API-driven design and microservices.
  • DevOps techniques and processes (dependency management, build orchestration, branch management, artefact repositories).
  •
