IT Infrastructure Engineer (Permanent role)
Mid Ulster. Opportunity for some UK travel
We are currently recruiting for an IT Infrastructure Engineer position for our major client, an established and growing business. There has been a recent positive change across the organisation and this is a key role combining both IT Operations and integration work.
Key responsibilities include:
Executing projects as defined by the IT Project Management schedule, on time & in line with budgets
Ensuring that Security practices & standards are maintained and adhered to
Identifying where Systems & Processes can be automated and proposing solutions to improve or remove low value activities.
Assisting in the development of the IT Strategy and its delivery.
Helping to develop a culture of ownership through the transition of new technology into BAU across company sites.
Does this sound like you?
track record in technical systems support and technical/ Systems administration fields
Good working knowledge of any of the following operating systems: - Windows Server 2000 / 2003 / 2008 / 2012/2016/2019/2022
Exchange server 2003 /2007 /2010 /2013/2016/EoL implementation experience
Active Directory Maintenance
Good working knowledge of major networking components
Experience with architectural/technologies across some of the following:-
Server / storage hardware
Microsoft Exchange / Lync
SharePoint
VMWare or alternative Hypervisor
LAN/WAN technologies
TCP/IP
Citrix
Desirable:
CISCO qualifications
A professional qualification e.g. membership of BCS, Prince2 , ITIL service Manager
Previous experience of working in an FMCG/Manufacturing environment
