We are working with one of Northern Ireland’s leading employers. They are currently seeking an experienced IT Quality Professional.

 

Job Overview

 

  • To develop and manage the Computer Systems element of the company Quality Management System (QMS).

  • To develop and manage the verification and test activities on IT Infrastructure and computer systems required to achieve compliance with business and regulatory requirements.

  • To maintain and manage the qualified or validated status of IT infrastructure and computer systems throughout their lifetime.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop, implement and maintain the policies, procedures, work instructions and any other guidance documents that comprise the Computer Systems element of the QMS to the required regulatory standards (e.g. GAMP / EU Annex 11 / 21 CFR Part 11).

  • Liaise with IT staff to ensure their activities are performed in a manner that is compliant with the Computer Systems element of the QMS.

  • Liaise with appropriate industry groups to leverage and influence industry best practices and standards.

  • Keep abreast of the business, legal and regulatory environment and ensure any impacts to the Computer Systems element of the QMS are understood and communicated.

  • Advise on the interpretation and application of regulations and guidelines affecting the Computer Systems element of the QMS (and integrate regulatory changes where appropriate and required)

  • Leverage industry best practice and standards (e.g. ITIL / PRINCE / TOGAF / ISO27001) where appropriate and integrate them into the Computer Systems element of the QMS.

 

Does this sound like you?

 

  • BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology or related subject(s) or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience in writing standard operating procedures or work instructions.

  • Experience coordinating and leading test teams and activities across different user groups.

  • Ability to translate regulatory guidelines into practical activities.

  • Ability to bring team members on the compliance journey.

  • Good communication, time management and organisational skills.
