IT Support Analyst- (Lisburn, Co. Antrim)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive support for all user issues and management of tickets (internal and customer facing) within our service desk system.

  • Facilitate and co-ordinate the Installation of IT equipment to new/existing staff.

  • Assist with IT helpdesk issues, to include call logging and fault resolution.

  • Resolve technical problems via telephone, email and remote support.

  • Proactively implement and roll out solutions.

  • Maintain systems such as Cloud based environments setups, support.

  • Manage cloud based networks such as Firewalls, DNS, web servers.

Key skills and experience:


 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a support environment (will also consider graduates with IT support-based placement as 1 year).

  • Cloud Technologies such as AWS, MS Azure. Specifically experience working with AWS and/or Azure administration console.

  • Experience with Office 365 admin.

  • Exposure to ITIL based approach for Incident, Change and Problem Management.

  • Experience providing IT support across multi sites.

  • Windows server 2016, 2019.

  • Exchange email administration.

  • Windows 10 support experience.

  • Database Experience such SQL Server.

  • Networking concepts.

  • Server and Client installs and setups.

  • Administration tasks within Active Directory including but not limited to user setups, email configuration.

  • A good understanding of group policy deployment and configuration.

  • Imaging technologies for hardware devices both laptops and handhelds such as phones and tablets.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work under pressure.


 

  • Desirable:


 

  • ITIL foundation qualification or equivalent.
