Data Analyst (PowerBI)-opportunity to learn Further develop your skills in PowerBI? Looking to work with a locally focused company where you can shape your own role? Our client are an innovative IT Services provider. They work with a range of clients across a number of business domains. They have a key requirement within their growing Solutions team. As a Microsoft Data Analyst / Power BI Engineer with you will be a member of a team delivering business intelligence solutions built on the Microsoft 365 technology stack. You will be responsible for working with the business analyst and other team members to gather customer requirements through to the development of the designed solution to a rapidly growing customer base. You’ll have the opportunity to grow within your role, gaining experience across the wider Microsoft Office 365 platform. Key Responsibilities: • Work directly with stakeholders to establish project requirements • Co-ordinate technical activities with other teams to ensure objectives are met • Data Extraction and Analysis using query tools e.g. Excel, SQL and SSRS • Supporting existing Power BI & Solutions Team deployments for customers • Troubleshooting technical issues related to the Solutions Team raised via the helpdesk • Perform work within budget / schedule and provide appropriate feedback to project manager / business analyst for workload, schedule and cost management Skills: • Strong Analytical mindset and creative thinker • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work as a team player • Positive attitude and strong desire to learn Essential Experience: • 2+ years’ demonstrated project experience building and deploying Power BI Solutions • Strong knowledge of SQL and building Data Connectors for Power BI Desirable Experience: • Experience with the wider Microsoft Modern Workplace Platform (Office 365, OneDrive, Teams and SharePoint) & Business Apps (Dynamics 365 & Power Platform) Eco-systems • Azure Data Factory exposure • Software development with Visual Studio / VS Code • PowerShell Scripting • Microsoft certified Power Platform and SharePoint advantageous For further information or to request a copy of the job description please contact Stephen Ingram on 028 90997720.
