QA Automation Engineer- Fully remote

Our client provide innovative cloud solutions to a range of international customers.    They now have a key appointment for an Automation Professional to join their growing QA function.  You will have a background in manual and automated testing as well as being familiar with the software development lifecycle.

Working with the Automation Lead and product and development teams, you will be responsible for testing software products, setting up and maintaining automation scripts and management of defects found using an Agile development methodology.

Key Skills:


  • Hands-on exposure to software development and testing
  • Knowledge of automated testing (Python, Java, C#)
  • Knowledge of UI and API automated testing
  • Automated Test tools (e,g, Selenium or Cypress)
  • Experience of working with JIRA and in front-end and API testing
  • Experience setting up and maintaining automated scripts
  • Understanding of Test Automation best practices - patterns




Desirable Skills:

  • Exposure to cloud-based software development and deployment
  • Experience with testing or supporting a Software as a Service (SaaS) product.
