We are working with one of Northern Ireland’s leading employers. They are currently seeking a Senior IT Architect . In this exciting role, you as the Architect will research, analyse, design, propose and deliver IT architecture solutions that support the business and IT strategies.
You will play a key role on a range or projects (spanning both Applications and Infrastructure)

The role would be ideally suited to an an experienced Technical Designer/Architect.

The Position:

leads efforts to ensure common architecture decisions are implemented consistently in a specific IT architecture domain (infrastructure / applications / business process / data).

Leads efforts to provide integrated systems analysis and recommends appropriate hardware, software and communications solutions.

Specifies and designs large or complex systems.

Selects appropriate design standards, methods and tools and ensures they are applied effectively.

Provides advice on aspects of system development and integration and ensures that the relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and
Does this sound like you?

BSC in Computer Science, Information Technology or related subject(s) or equivalent work experience.

Typically 5+ years of experience across multiple IT areas and 2-3 years of relevant Applications architecture experience.

Experience working with third party IT service providers and consultancies.

Experience of principles and practices involved in solutions development, maintenance, service delivery and project delivery.

Experience of the principles and practices involved in solutions development, maintenance, service delivery and project delivery.

Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of at least one specific technology area and a broad understanding across a wide field along with a track record of applying such knowledge.

Excellent inter-personal skills, confidence dealing with colleagues.

High level of responsibility and ownership of technical issues.

Good technical understanding and aptitude to remain up to date with technology and industry developments.
