They seek an experienced Software Team Lead to join their growing IT Applications function.

In this role you will manage a small groups of software engineers responsible for system delivery and support across a number of technology areas. In addition, you will provide technical leadership and mentoring through all phases of project delivery and subsequent system support.

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of estimates produced by yourr team is of a high standard and that subsequent execution of any planned tasks is also carried out to the required standard and delivered within the agreed timeline.

You will also be responsible for some liaison activities between business customers and the Applications function, to ensure that requirements are translated accurately and that the delivered solutions match the business expectations

Code reviews, reviews of estimates, unit test plans and scripts will be routine tasks which the successful candidates will be required to carry out with each of their team members.

Does this sound like you?

• 1+ Year's Experience of leading and driving engineering teams using modern tooling such as JIRA applying agile principles such as Scrum and Kanban.

• Worked previously with leadership in organisations to transform product roadmaps into reality and understand the important of MVP solutions

• At least one year's experience in people management

Desirable:

• Demonstrable experience in the production and maintenance of high-quality documentation.

• Experience in configuration management/ version control methods and processes.

• Previous experience of managing teams who are building cloud solutions using AWS or Azure
